Established in 1879, Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is one of the nation’s 18 first class cricket counties and operates within the sports and entertainment industry.
In 2015, under the leadership of a new Chief Executive, LCCC outlined an aspirational new vision for the club. Since 2015, the club has made significant progress both on and off the field, signalling an exciting new era in its history.
Community Sports and Cricket Activator
LCCC’s Community Team are working with Charnwood Borough Council and the Charnwood Sport and Active Recreation Alliance to recruit a Full Time Community Sports and Cricket Activator to support the Community team in delivering high quality professional cricket and multi sport activities within our Schools and Community programmes.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in cricket/sports coaching, developing core sporting activities and increasing the number of children and young adults taking an interest in the game.

School and Community Cricket – Casual Coaches Needed
With our delivery continuing to grow we are always looking for additional coaches to support the development team in delivering high quality professional cricket activities within our Schools and Community programmes. We are looking for casual coaches that can deliver cricket/sports coaching, developing core sporting activities and increasing the number of children and young adults taking an interest in the game.
Coaches must demonstrate both team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised using their own initiative. You will be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm together with good administration and organisational skills.
This is not a contracted position and any casual coaches that would like to join our delivery team will be paid on an hourly basis at £15p/h, delivering activity during curriculum time and immediately after-school.
