Laura has worked for Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket for nearly 7 years, starting as Volunteer Coordinator before becoming a full time Cricket Development Officer in November 2009. Originally responsible for Schools and Community (including Women’s & Girls as well as Disability development). Laura was promoted to Cricket Development Manager in 2012 following a major shake up to the way Chance to Shine was funded which saw the addition of development coaches and officers to the LRC team.
Laura is now strategic lead for the LRC Participation strand and line manages the officers supporting this area of the business. This includes being strategic lead for workforce development, women’s and girls’ player pathway, chance to shine and construction colleges. In addition to this she is responsible for delivering on league engagement, club affiliation and development (including ClubMark), facility and investment support, the NatWest Club U19T20 competition and provides operational support to the Growth strand of the business.
Originally from London, Laura played her cricket down south before retiring due to Injury in 2008.
