Under 13′s
In the south east Houghton on the Hill amassed a huge 193 for 1 with Cam Sharp, Max Vincent, Ben Padwick, James Bateman and Matt Walker all reaching the retirement score of 25 In reply Medbourne “B” were held to 89-9 as Houghton secured a 104 run win. Stoughton and Thurnby secured a vital win at Lutterworth with Salman Mir leading the way, chasing 83 for victory Joe Hack top scoring for Lutterworth with 26 but Mir also made 26 before retiring, in a 9 wicket win
Dunton Bassett completed an excellent season when Reece Jones Mitchell Willey and Will Branson all retiring in a score or 128-6 Gilmorton were never in the chase as the wickets were shred between Luke Jarvis Callum Franks and Brad Spencer who all took 2 each but destroyer in chief was Ciaran Ayres with 3-5
Under 15’s
In the north west Loughborough Carillon elected to bat against Barrow Town who needed to win to top the group, Jack Nightingale with 2-16 helped to dismiss Carillon for 77 in 16 overs. Tom Moores and Oliver James with 33 not out and 28 not out blasted Barrow to victory in only 7 over. Barrow now take on Loughborough Town in the district final
LCCC won the toss and batted:
Ashby Hastings finished the season well with a 7 wicket win over Bardon Hill, chasing 88 for victory Rafe Legg with 26 not out and Jake Warner 25 not out eased Ashby to the win. In the district finals, CCA overcame Kibworth and now take on Barwell who recorded a fine 10 wicket victory over Narborough and Littlethorpe, set 82 for victory the target was met without loss in the 12th over.
Under 17’s
In the north east Thorpe Arnold took on Syston in the district final with the prize of a County semi final away at Sileby to the winners Thorpe made 132 for 4 with Joe Kendall playing a superb innings of 72 in a total of 132-4 Batting throughout the innings and producing a number of quality cover drives, Kendall put the total out of Syston’s reach. In reply they reached 96-6 as Thorpe won by 36 runs However Thorpe Arnolds campaign came to an end at Sileby when the suffered an 8 wicket defeat. Batting first Thorpe made 127-8 but it was not enough to trouble the Sileby batsmen Sam Gale leading the way yet again with 41 and Ryan Dawson making 37.
Sileby will take on Lutterworth in the county final after they recorded a 15 run win over Leicester Ivanhoe. Lutterworth were indebted to Charlie Hack who top scored with 42 despite Jake Beaumont returning 2-23 Hack then got to work with the ball to take 2-26 and along with Alec Hill 2-12 and Sam Green 1-13 helped restrict Ivanhoe to 95-6
