Interfaith Cricket Festival & Family Fun Day

Leicester’s first ever Interfaith Cricket Festival will be held at Leicester Caribbean CC on Sunday 22nd May 2016.

8 team from different community/ faith groups will compete in a kwik cricket 8-a-side competition in the morning followed by a T20 match as the local community will witness the Faith Leaders take on the Leicester Community team which will be made up of staff from the police and fire service.

It is a FREE|FUN|FAMILY event and their will be plenty of entertainment for everyone.

Leicester Sports Fest

Leicester has a great sporting history and for the past 10 years this has been celebrated with the annual Leicester Sports Fest, providing a range of sport and healthy lifestyle activities for all to enjoy, free of charge. The festival is organised by Leicester City Council’s Sports Regeneration team in partnership with key sporting and community groups in the city.

Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket were in attendance at the 2014 and 2015 event, which attracted over 12,000 people, offering some fun and inclusive cricket activities in the sports activity zone on Humberstone Gate.

The date for Sports Fest 2015 is Sunday 28th August
