Leicestershire County Cricket Club Community Team are committed to the development of cricket. Key to this development is working with schools and creating opportunities to progress into the club environment. This is achieved through supporting the development of school-club links and providing opportunities for children to compete in school competition at primary and secondary.

The day will run from 9:30 am– 2:30 pm (or earlier if you need to get back to school). The day will still include some time in the classroom, a tour of the ground and a cricket session in our Indoor School. We will also tailor the day to meet the needs of your school and can modify the morning session accordingly. We have the following resources available:

- Health and Well Being
- Added Values – behavioural and team work-based activities
Leicestershire County Cricket Club Community Teams’ School Delivery Programme is primarily driven through the Chance to Shine programme which is enabling children in Primary and Secondary Schools throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to access quality coaching, competition and club based cricket opportunities.
