The Holiday Activities & Food Programme will provide free places for those Leicestershire pupils who are eligible for free school meals*, allowing them access up to 4 hours of activity for 4 hours a day for 4 weeks of the summer. A healthy meal will be available each day.

The aim is for children (and where appropriate, their parents) who attend this provision:

– to eat more healthily over the summer holidays

– to be more active over the summer holidays

– to take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing and other skills

– to be safe and not to be socially isolated

– to have greater knowledge of health and nutrition

– to be more engaged with school and other local services and to have greater knowledge and awareness of local free holiday provision

Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Foxes Summer Play Scheme is running from Monday 22nd July to Thursday 15th August at Rushey Mead Academy. Please see our flyer below for full information on our Summer Holiday programme.

For those who are not eligible to receive a free place, the cost for the Foxes Summer Play Scheme is £10 per day or £35 for the week (Monday to Thursday).
