Leicestershire Young Cricketers (LYC) will exclusively wear Gray-Nicolls branded match and training wear throughout the term of the deal.
“Our principle concern when considering kit supply proposals was the need to provide our players with the best quality kit we could find which could withstand the rigours of the player pathway. Gray-Nicolls shone through with excellent quality and design, and the thought of working with a company who deeply understood the cricket world is very exciting.”
“We are pleased to have been presented with an opportunity to align LYC with such a prestigious and world leading cricket brand, and look forward to developing a range of kit for the benefit of our players” said LRC Cricket Development Director Ged McDougall.
Gray-Nicolls Sales and Marketing Director, Richard Gray added “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to supply Leicestershire Young Cricketers with their kit requirements. They become the latest of a growing number of leading First Class Counties to have chosen Gray-Nicolls teamwear. Gray-Nicolls have enjoyed a long association with Leicestershire Cricket from David Gower to Shiv Thakor and we are very pleased to now extend this relationship into the clothing arena. Having been involved in cricket since 1855, we see the importance of investing in future of the game as paramount and what better way to do so than working with and investing in the next generation of cricketers”.
