Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket are currently working with Vimal Mehta and his Leicester City Council Community Opportunity Team. Following a successful taster session, the group have recently begun a program of 6 sessions, lead by Cricket Development Coach Tom Leonard. The sessions held at Ayelstone Leisure Centre and Braunstone Leisure Centre, engage the individuals in various multi-sport and cricket based skills and games.

We now are looking to work with other local Community groups who work with disabled children and/or adults to deliver some activity to. We will also be working closely with Syston Town Cricket Club and their Inclusive Section, to provide further sessions and also access to more social opportunities.

If you are part of, or run a local Community group that works with disabled individuals and you are interested in getting involved in some sporting activity, please contact Tom Leonard – tom@leicestershirecricket.co.uk or 0116 244 2198
