The East Midlands branch of The Lord’s Taverners is organising an evening for the cricket lover on Thursday October, 8.

The venue is the superb 400 Hall at Repton School, DE65 6FH where the Pyemont brothers will deliver an entertaining talk entitled “The History of the Ashes.”

It will examine cricket’s oldest sporting rivalry, following an outstanding series where England retained the famous urn. They will be joined by Old Reptonian and ex-England cricketer Richard Hutton.

The evening starts at 7pm with fizz and canapés with the talk commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets are £27.50 each with two for £50. All proceeds go to The Lord’s Taverners charity which gives young people a sporting chance.
