The Lord’s Taverners City Cup (LTCC) formerly the Wisden City Cup, was designed to promote inner-city cricket and social cohesion and has been staged in London under the auspices of Middlesex County Cricket Club since 2009.

The main aim of the competition is to give opportunities to those players, with talent, who play outside of the top of the traditional Senior League structure or at the top end of Premier Leagues, enabling them to fast track not only in their own counties but nationally with the opportunity to gain selection on to the MCC Young Cricketers Programme.

Criteria for selection;

– Aged 16 to 24
– Resident of Leicester City (LE1 – LE5)
– Non Everards Premier Division player.
– Not playing in the LYC U17’s or involved in any MCC University Cricket.

The dates for trials are as follows:

Tuesday 2nd June 6.00-8.00pm at Electricity Sports Cricket Club, LE2 7JR

Thursday 4th June 6.15-8.15pm at Judgemeadow Community College, LE5 6HP
