Mark Hudson appointed as the new Women and Girls Cluster Club Manager
We are delighted to welcome Mark to the team with a new exciting role as Women and Girls Cluster Manager. This role involves responsibility for supporting 13 clubs to develop an engaging and sustainable Women and Girls offer, building on the good work already done. Mark has vast knowledge of club cricket, having been chairman of Market Overton for several years. This will help when working within a local network of community cricket clubs, also known as the ‘cluster’.
Few words from Mark Hudson
‘ I applied for the role, because I feel passionate about getting more Women & Girls playing the game I love and hopefully help clubs grow their offering. With my daughter, Isabelle, being part of the Leicestershire Girls Pathway, I’ve been closely following the game and feel it’s about to take off and I wanted to play a major part in that growth. I bring over 30 years experience in cricket as a player, coach & chairman to the role, as well as over 10 years of project leadership experience. ‘
Heather Beattie appointed as Women and Girls Development Officer
We are excited to announce that Heather Beattie has taken on the role as Women and Girls Development Officer. Heather has a bundle of experience within cricket having already worked with LCCC for 6 years. Heather will be responsible for growing the game for women and girls in Leicestershire and Rutland. Heather will be carrying on with Coach Education as she has done fantastic work over the years in this area.
