Our vision is to become the leading non-International Cricket Club by 2019.

Established in 1879, Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is one of the nation’s 18 first class cricket counties and operates within the sports and entertainment industry.

In 2015, under the leadership of a new Chief Executive, LCCC outlined an aspirational new vision for the club. Since 2015, the club has made significant progress both on and off the field, signalling an exciting new era in its history.

LCCC’s Community Team are working with Charnwood Borough Council and the Charnwood Sport and Active Recreation Alliance to recruit a Full Time Community Sports and Cricket Activator to support the Community team in delivering high quality professional cricket and multi sport activities within our Schools and Community programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in cricket/sports coaching, developing core sporting activities and increasing the number of children and young adults taking an interest in the game.
