Leicestershire County Cricket Club Community Team is dedicated to promoting the game of cricket at all levels and particularly among young people, through partnership and involvement of professional and recreational cricketing bodies, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, community clubs and other appropriate agencies within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Cricket Development Officer (Coach Development & Inclusion)
Leicestershire County Cricket Club are recruiting a (Maternity Cover) Cricket Development Officer (Coach Development & Inclusion) in order to continue this work during the Maternity Cover period. The Cricket Development officer for Coach Development & Inclusion will continue to manage and administer the Coach Development offer, running accredited courses and growing the CPD offer via the ECB Coaches Association.
This role also embeds the Disability and Inclusion offer across Leicestershire, helping to cement plans from Table Cricket to Disability Champion clubs and longer term developing County disability Squads.
This role will be managed by the Head of Community Development and helps deliver important strand of the Inspiring Generations Strategy.
The role is initially a maternity cover contract with the intention to continue areas of the role beyond that period.
The successful candidate will receive role specific training and will benefit from a company laptop and mobile phone.

School and Community Cricket – Casual Coaches Needed
With our delivery continuing to expand, we are always looking for additional coaches to support the development team in delivering high quality professional cricket activities within our Schools and Community programmes. We are looking for casual coaches that can deliver cricket/sports coaching activities, increasing the number of children and young adults taking an interest in the game.
Coaches must demonstrate both team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised using their own initiative. You will be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm together with good administration and organisational skills.
This is not a contracted position and any casual coaches that would like to join our delivery team will be paid on an hourly basis at £15p/h, delivering activity during curriculum time and immediately after-school.
