Construction College Support
LCCC in The Community teamed up with Brooksby Melton and South Leicestershire Colleges in 2011. The partnership was set up to harness the skills of their construction students to help local cricket clubs upgrade or improve their facilities as part of NatWest CricketForce. Stephenson College also came on board in 2014 bringing with them additional skills and an ability to support clubs up in the North West of the County.
Full details of the scale of work and distance each college can cover can be found by clicking on the college names below. You will also find details of how to submit a project and some FAQ’s at the bottom of this page.
How can Clubs get support?
In order for projects to be considered, a club’s first priority is to register for NatWest CricketForce. For more information about NWCF or to register your club click here. Following this, clubs should complete the project details form below and return it to Heather Beattie.

Should your project be selected by a college, they will arrange a site visit and risk assessment to make sure the site is safe and suitable before finalising details of the work programme. You will also need to complete a Service Level Agreement with LCCC in order for any work to start. Please see the SLA below;

During the work the club would need to make sure that power, running water and toilet facilities are available whilst any work is being carried out. The club would also need to be available during the day.
To help cricket clubs there are a number of documents that outline what you will need to consider when thinking about working with construction colleges;
