All DBS applications should now be completed online. Paper forms can only now be used in exceptional circumstances.

To initiate an online application for yourself, please contact one of your local authorised verifiers; who can initiate a new application. To initiate an application, the verifier will require your full name, date of birth, email address, name of your cricket club and the role you perform.

The verifier will then initiate an online application, which will be forwarded to you. The system will then generate and send reminders as you complete your application.

Clubs that have an online DBS verifier are listed here

Clubs and Club Welfare Officers- make sure everyone at your Club who needs a DBS, has one. See ECB list of roles requiring one. See ECB list of roles requiring one.

All Clubs should now have an online DBS document verifier, Club Welfare Officers should have been contacted to complete their registration- if your Club does not have a verifier, email Andrew Hibberd

The new system is very user friendly, only takes a few minutes to fill in the form, and 3 or 4 minutes to carry out the document checking. Disclosures are typically issued within a week.

We’ve waited a long time for this – but early indications are that it is going to be very good!
