South Leicestershire College (SLC) will again support cricket clubs in Leicestershire to complete construction projects during the 2014/15 academic year. We have been working with the college since 2011 and although clubs have had to pay for the materials and transport, the college labour has been provided free of charge. SLC can provide expertise and support in the following areas;
- Basic manufacturing assembling and basic fitting of joinery items
- Basic brickwork, basic pointing, basic block work and basic slab laying/ block paving
- Some basic painting
However this year, thanks to financial support from the ECB the cost for cricket clubs to develop or improve facilities will be further reduced and in some cases could be totally free of charge.
ECB funding is available to help pay for the materials needed and clubs are open to submit a project details form up to the 31st October in order to access this funding. In order to submit a project, you will need to complete the document below and return it to Laura Joyce prior to the specified deadline.

The funding available will be distributed fairly between projects submitted prior to the deadline and it will be the responsibility of the club to pick up the cost of any shortfall.
